Rodney Franks

 Rodney is CEO and founder of rdf Consulting, a leading consulting firm that focuses on capacity building, strategic planning, fundraising, marketing, and community empowerment campaigns in a variety of industries. 

Once the youngest CEO of a foundation in the country, Rodney has worked closely with key decision-makers in the entertainment industry, the non-profit sector, and corporate America – finding new ways to partner for-profit enterprise with philanthropy. 

With a focus on social impact, through collaboration and systemwide evangelism of goals, Rodney helps celebrities, organizations and entrepreneurs connect strategy to results. Whether assisting Rhianna’s Clara Lionel Foundation strengthen its climate resiliency campaign in the Caribbean or help the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project strategically broaden its scope of HIV/AIDS education in South Africa or expand Prince Harry’s, African Parks, the largest conservation non-profit in Africa, philanthropic footprint in the US – he has helped them close the gap between potential and realization. 

Rodney ensures that the impact of his work reaches the most vulnerable, especially communities of color, where resources are limited. He has raised over $200 million for a variety of impact causes. 

Rodney serves on several boards and teaches leadership and entrepreneurship at UCLA to international students from fifteen various universities in China, Australia, France, and Italy. He is often a panelist or guest lecturer on a variety of topics.
